This safari, designed for travelers craving a taste of African wildlife in a short time, promises unforgettable memories. Short and sweet, as the name suggests, it spans just 4 days. Within this brief span, you’ll venture to Lake Manyara National Park, home to its famed tree-climbing lions, then to Serengeti, renowned for its endless plains and unparalleled wildlife. Finally, the journey culminates at the Ngorongoro Crater, where completing your sightings of the ‘Big 5’ with the highly endangered black rhino is possible.
After a short briefing, we will drive to Tarangire National Park, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Upon entering through the main gate, our safari through the park begins, offering sightings of numerous elephants, antelopes, lions, and other animals amidst the ancient baobab trees. This park's uniqueness ensures each visit is a distinct experience. Lunch will be enjoyed in the picnic area before departing to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Following breakfast, we depart for the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch in hand. En route, we traverse the farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands, enjoying a game drive along the way. We arrive at our accommodation inside Serengeti National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 offers an optional hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains, followed by a champagne breakfast (at additional cost). Alternatively, continue the morning with a game drive through the oldest national park, reveling in its incredible views. Lunch will be served amidst the Serengeti's splendor before departing for Ngorongoro in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro.
Begin the day with an early breakfast, then descend to the Ngorongoro base of the crater, often referred to as the "Garden of Eden." Enjoy game drives at the crater base, home to the rare black rhino and the big five. Lunch will be served at the picnic site before heading back to Arusha or Moshi.
